Villa Bedin Aldighieri Park Trail

Beautiful path that allows you to reach Monte Berico coming from the Retrone Park.
The shade and the scent of the large trees make this climb very pleasant.
Along the way there are benches for a break.The Villa Bedin Aldighieri Park is a green lung of Vicenza, very important both from a historical and botanical point of view. Made up of a hilly area of about 15 hectares, most of which are used as a park, located between the southwestern outskirts of Vicenza and Monte Berico, in the locality of Gogna, the Colonia Bedin Aldighieri takes its name from the notary Giacomo Bedin (1843 - 1927) who, to honor the memory of his missing daughter, bought a large plot of land under Monte Berico in 1911, with the aim of building a sanatorium for the care of children with tuberculosis. Subsequently, thanks to the funds of Mrs. Aldighieri Chilessotti, in 1922 the climatic colony was opened.
