Vogrie House stands at the centre of the Vogrie Country Park. It was built by the Dewar family in 1876. The house is a good example of Victorian baronial splendour architectural style.
It was a family home until 1926 when it became a nursing home. In 1950, it was sold to the local government, who use the house as offices and for education. The wider park is open to the public.
