    The collection of the conservatory started already in 1956, in 2015. On April 23, the new conservatory complex of the National Botanical Garden was opened. The construction of the new conservatory, performed by the construction company SIA “EKOTEH”, started in 2013 within the ERDF project “Development of Ex-situ Infrastructure for Biodiversity Conservation”, which was financed by the European Regional Development Fund. The total financial investment is 3.4 million euros.

    Today, about 2,100 plant taxa from around the world, representing 116 genera and 412 genera, can be seen in the conservatories. Here you will find such plant collections of the botanical garden - succulent collection, which includes agaves, cacti, aloes, etc. A collection of cacti that includes more than 600 varieties, including 100 taxa of rapeseed, epiphilia, lepism, and more. leaf cacti - different shapes, shades, degrees of stinginess, elongated or round, creeping and glamorous flowering. Perhaps the cactus collection can be called the shortest synopsis of the paradoxical diversity of nature. The dense plants bloom in incredibly fragile and beautiful flowers, the color palette of which surpasses the imagination of any artist. Also included are gasteria (25 species), peperomias (20 taxa), kalanhoe (15 taxa), hawthorn (15 species), euphorbia (10 species), sansevier (17 species), as well as quite exotic succulent ivy wines, unusual bovias, testudinaries. The exposition also includes plants of the genus Krasula from the arid tropical and subtropical regions of the world - more than 50 varieties of chrysanthemums, 40 sedums and 20 eonies, monanthes, sinocrasul, cotyledons, dudleja, cyanotes, escher, as well as 17 , cordylines and bushes.

    The collection of conifers includes araucaria, cypress, head ivy, pine.
