The first part of the cycle path from Voorthuizen to approximately the Tolnegenweg consists of outdated asphalt. Cycling solo is fine, but with a group (2 next to each other) is less pleasant. A concrete path has recently been constructed between the Tolnegenweg and Garderen, where you can enjoy the flames. This applies to the cycle path on both sides of the road, although the asphalt path to Voorthuizen (north side of the road) is more passable than that from Voorthuizen.
