The baroque parish church of Traismauer has a long history. At the beginning of the 9th century, Traismauer was a capital in the eastern county of Charlemagne. In 833, Prince Privina, who had fled Moravia, was baptized in what was then St. Martin's Church in Traisma. The “Pribina Fountain” in front of the parish church, built in 1999, reminds us of this historic event. After the first wooden church building burned down, a new parish church in late Romanesque style was built on the remains around 1293. The original Martinskirche was rebuilt several times, most recently in the Baroque style. After years of legal dispute between the Traismauer donated to the Archdiocese of Salzburg and the Augustinian Canons' Monastery of St. Georgen at the mouth of the Traisen in the 12th and 13th centuries. In the 19th century, Salzburg renounced the Martin's patronage and chose St. Rupert from Salzburg as the church's saint.

The command building of the Roman fort used to be located here, in the cellar there is a border count with an arrowhead in his bone from the early Middle Ages, in a word, a building with history!
