    It is not a real enchanted forest, where you can run into elves and fairies. However, it is a fascinating wood, with a path - between trees and fountains - that combines nature, philosophy and, if desired, also Tai Chi exercises, the ancient martial art of defense, of Chinese origin: it acts both on the body and on the mind and aims at achieving complete well-being, involving muscles, lungs, heart, breathing and body movements. The forest is located in Vittuone, one of the most westerly municipalities of the Agricultural Park: the project was developed by the municipal administration which has owned the area since the 1990s. Simply by optimizing the existing one: it uprooted sick trees and therefore enriched the forest, with the contribution of Ersaf (Regional Agency for Agriculture and Forestry Services) and re-planted part of the area with lime trees, oaks and ash trees, thus revitalizing a little "lived" place. The original idea came from the parish priest Don Antonio, who has always been linked to the small church of the Lazzaretto, built to shelter the sick during the plague of 1630, where the path ends.
