Restored in 1969, this 19th century wash house opens directly onto the Morbras, facing a gentle slope which was used to water the cattle. All in millstone and covered with tiles, it could only be used in summer because of the too irregular variations of the river.

The washhouse was mainly used in winter, because the water there was less cold than that of Morbras. The name of the place perhaps evokes the ancient existence of a standing stone, perhaps a megalith.
The hemispherical dome is engraved with the initials of a certain Hérault, who contributed to promoting the water source through the construction of this fountain.
