Chapel St. Cassian Sils i.D.
In a lonely hilltop location east of Sils. Until the construction of the church in the village in 1619 parish church; equipment and renovation 1923-25. Difficult to date, probably medieval. Building with a square nave and a transverse rectangular chancel that is offset from the axis; stone plastered (pietra rasa). western attached tower with renewed tent roof; the ledge at the NW corner of the nave is apparently the remains of an older tower. Flat batten ceiling in the nave, barrel vault in the chancel.
