Parish Church of Strass im Zillertal

The current small church was consecrated in 1729. In addition to the many artistically valuable paintings and wood carvings, there is a special feature in a beautiful Baroque display cabinet from the 2nd half of the 18th century. in the right corner of the choir the relics of Saint Secundinus.
History, art, legends and stories about the hermits at Maria Brettfall can be found in the 24-page guidebook "Maria Brettfall Pilgrimage Church" (available directly from the Pilgrimage Church, Strass Parish Church or Strass Tourist Office).
Also worth seeing is the large nativity scene with figures from the 19th century, which is set up in its own room all year round.
