The ascent from the "Kaufmannsgeräum" is steep, but absolutely worthwhile: 180 degree distant view of the Veste CO (in SW) over Staffelberg, the wind farms between KC and KU, Fichtelgebirge (Schneeberg/Ochsenkopf) unfortunately not visible today, Döbraberg to the Wetzstein in the NE . As a circular hike from Haselbach (Hohe Wart) around the Breiter Berg (refreshment stop at the Bergmannsklause > beautiful "botanical garden"). Unfortunately, the paths are not completely signposted, with Komoot map planning ok.
