Appen gravel pit
The gravel pit has a water surface of almost 3 hectares and is over 5 meters deep.
This is a typical gravel pit with a sandy bottom - the bank slopes down and the water is over 3 meters deep even close to the bank.
It should be noted that this is actually a very good body of water that in summer the lake is visited by a lot of bathers and bathing is expressly permitted!!!
So you should at least use the cooler and rainier days in summer to fish in this body of water (the fish bite better anyway).
However, we anglers have always got along well with the bathers and we hope that it stays that way - the fish don't seem to care, because the biting behavior has always been equally good or sometimes bad.
