The beach of Skiveren has been awarded a Blue Flag and the wide beach offers enough space for many leisure activities for the whole family. The high dunes shield the beach from the east and it is allowed to drive to the beach by car.The good wind conditions make the beach an attractive place for windsurfing or other board sports in the waves. The conditions are so good that the Wave Performance Surf Cup takes place once a year on the beach in Skiveren.
