The Barons Knigge estate is located in the west of Leveste.

The manor house, built between 1728 and 1732, is surrounded by old trees. The original moat is only partially preserved. The design of the gate to the originally planned entrance through an avenue to the house is attributed to the royal Hanoverian architect Laves. Since the associated bridge over the moat was never built, the access is still via the estate today.

The current farm complex was built at the beginning of the 20th century. Two thirds of the buildings fell victim to a major fire in 1966. Extensive dairy and sheep farming had to be abandoned as a result. At the same time, the conversion to pure arable farming took place. Reconstruction was successful within the old walls over the course of a year.
