In Bad Säckingen mountain biking is quite popular, which is also due to a person. Olympic champion Sabine Spitz comes from here and so even in the context of the German Championship 2012, the "Sabine Spitz Mountain Bike Arena" was built, a four-kilometer long cross-country competition track through the Hotzenwald. So you can be sure that you are welcome as a biker in Bad Säckingen. Incidentally, the Route des Schwarzwald-Cross, which starts in Pforzheim, also ends in Bad Säckingen.
