Kanonenbahn Cycle Path: Küllstedt–Dingelstädt Section

It is the already completed northern section of the so-called Kanonenbahn cycle path, starting at the Bf. Dingelstädt and a panoramic west bypass of the city with dams and viaducts. The cycle path is like a highway for bicycles, running straight next to the tracks. Nevertheless, there are good viewing points of the neighboring villages of Eichsfeld and the very beautiful, hilly landscape.
But there is also a lot of traffic on the "motorway", from pedestrians to cyclists to trolleys, which is why you should always be careful when driving, especially in the tunnels between Küllstedt and Lengenfeld unterm Stein. These are illuminated, but light on the bike helps!
