Calaita lake is a small alpine lake of natural origin located in the Lozen Valley, eastern Trentino, (municipality of Siror) at 1600 meters above sea level. The lake is located on a wide plateau which takes the name of Campìgol del Doch from the homonymous malga overlooking the lake dating back to the beginning of the 20th century. The lake is part of the Paneveggio - Pale di San Martino natural park

Beautiful alpine lake in the Lozen valley. In the background you can see the Pale di San Martino. Easily accessible by car even if the road is very steep (road signs indicate 18%) or on foot with a nice walk. On the shore of the lake there is the hut. From there start new paths that surround the shores of the lake. When the lake is partially dry it is not uncommon to find docile cows grazing. The place is very peaceful and relaxing.
