In winter, Schillig beach is ideal for bird watching. Due to the wind, only a few songbirds can be found. We were happy with the blackbird, meadow pipit, robin and skylark.Target species were sanderlings, turnstones and crested larks on the North Sea. We were able to observe all three species up close.
