St. Anthony Monastery (Coptic - Orthodox)

The oldest surviving mention of the previous building dates back to 1343. In the 16th century the Grabner zu Rosenburg were Lords of Siebenbrunn. After several changes of ownership, Georg Wilhelm Jörger remodeled the building in the early Baroque style in the 17th century.

The castle was given to Emperor Charles VI in 1725. sold, who gave it to Prince Eugene of Savoy in the same year. In 1725 and 1726 a Baroque re-adaptation took place. Until 1874 the castle was owned by the Kollonitsch family.

In 2001 the building was acquired by the Coptic Church. Since then, the Coptic Monastery of St. Anthony and the Coptic Museum have been located there. This offers information about this Egyptian-Christian religious community
