St Peter's is a very pretty church in the picturesque village of Titley. There has been worship on this site as far back as 1120, when it housed an order of Tironensian monks. However, the current church building dates from 1865.

Interestingly, the churchyard sees quite a few visitors from Hungary, paying their respects to national hero General Lázár Mészáros. A monument was placed here in 1858 when he died in the village, after spending eight years travelling the world.
