The steep rocky hill Omšenská baba, which rises above the village, is one of the dominants of the Strážovské vrchy. And not only that. It hides enormous natural wealth within the animal and plant kingdoms.
Omšenská baba is built with Triassic dolomites of the hronika unit and underlying marls, shales and sandstones of the Cretaceous age, which belong to the fatrik unit.
The SNP Heroes' Path runs below the hill.
