From the old peat well to the water treatment plant, there is a lot to discover in the water park.Water is indispensable and our number one food. The Hasselt water park was set up with this in mind, because people only preserve and protect what they know and value. In the 7000 m² natural area, the water park offers an overview of the history and technology of water supply. Exhibits and display boards provide information on all topics related to drinking water and make it an experience for the senses. From playful elements, historical fountains to a modern water treatment plant, visitors get an impression of how difficult it used to be and how technology has made things much easier for us.
