The nursery/garden center is well worth seeing because of the magnificent selection of rhododendrons. You can walk through the huge (!), park-like grounds and enjoy rhododendrons of all colors and sizes. Bring a little time with you, park at the entrance, just don't miss the somewhat inconspicuous turnoff.

The business is still family-owned and goes back to the gardening dynasty of the Seidel family. They came to Saxony in the 17th century and were mayors in Radeberg, discoverers and operators of the (Liegau-)Augustusbad healing spring, tenants of the "Last Heller" and, above all, gardeners, court gardeners and successful flower growers, e.g. of hardy rhododendrons. The camellias and azaleas of the Dresden branch can be admired in Pirna-Zuschendorf, and in Dresden the Hermann-Seidel-Park.
