Here you can get a lot of information about the Hainich National Park. Two exhibitions can also be admired here. Are included in the price for the treetop path.

More information is available at nationalpark-hainich.de/de/ausflugsziel/baumkronenpfad.html.

Wonderful overview from the observation tower over the forests and mountains. Great feeling when you are above the treetops.

It's great here, and since it's unsuitable for dogs, there are even lockable dog huts with water pots. So Struppi falls the wait quite easily.

Being close to the trees. Not just on the ground, but at the top of the tree. Visit better in the week, there is more peace in the area.

You can walk around a path in the middle of the trees. For my feeling but rather unspectacular and without much eye view. The entrance fee of 9 euros is really expensive!

In front of the tree crown trail, it is beautifully explained how old and how tall the largest trees on earth can become. Impressive is the 7m diameter on the foot.

Ideal starting point for hikes. There is not only the treetop path. Various hiking routes are available. Everything is well signposted. At the treetop path there is also an elevator available, for which you do not feel confident going up the stairs.

A worthwhile excursion destination for young and old with a very clean toilet facility and well-run gastronomy.
The area offers highlights such as the root cave, the treetop path and the adventure route (preferably for children).

best to set it early or late in the evening - even when the weather is bad, you are almost alone on the road

Anyone who is ever in the Hainich area should definitely visit. An experience for old and young, worth knowing and a view of a beautiful piece of nature and when do you have the opportunity to run over the trees ...
