The cool and refreshing water of the Mary’s Fountain can quench the thirst of pilgrims and hikers after a long time. Facing the source, we can see the image of Mary in the tree on the right.
The Maria well, also known as the Malomvölgy spring, was built in the early 1900s by miners and stonemasons in Márianosztra, Soba and Ipolydamásd. The original version of the well was completed in 1901, it was called the Mary Well. Once completed, it became a place of worship, a place of rest and prayer for pilgrims to Nostra.
