The Weikertswiese near Rechtenbach in the Hochspessart is a species-rich, nutrient-poor habitat and part of a Natura 2000 protected area. It is known for its diverse flora, including rare orchid species and the largest German occurrence of the heather vetch. The area, at over 500 meters altitude, is a popular hiking destination with a shelter, a viewpoint, and a playground, accessible for example from the Bischborner Hof.
