Larochette Castle
The castle overlooks the picturesque village of Larochette and gives it a very special character. The first buildings in the village date from the 11th century and are located on a promontory made of Luxembourg sandstone and tower about 50 meters above the valley of the Ernz Blanche, a tributary of the Sauer. A fire in 1565 left all the buildings on the site in ruins. The house in Créhange is the only one that was consistently restored in the 1980s. Changing art exhibitions and occasional concerts fill the historic walls with life.
