Cycling
Mojacar is clearly one of the most picturesque towns on the coastal region between Almería and Cartagena. Viewed from the beach, the lush hotel and apartment complexes often obstruct the view of the pretty town with its whitewashed house facades. It is all the more worthwhile to take a short detour to the viewpoint at Picacho. The climb is tough, but nowhere is there a better view of the coast.
