Since it opened, the Schönwalder lido has been a popular destination for residents and guests. As early as 1933, the lido was artificially created from the once small lake and handed over to its use in 1934. It was given a depth of 2.50 meters. Originally there was a diving board in the middle of the lake, which was later removed for safety reasons. Here the depth is about 4 meters.
