Monte Caina (1002m) is a splendid panoramic balcony, thanks to its privileged and unique position, exactly on the south-eastern corner of the Asiago Plateau.
You have a very broad view of the entire Venetian Po Valley, from the Lessini to the Upper Adriatic; in the foreground there is Bassano and the entrance to Val Brenta; on the left the western, vertical and rocky side of the Grappa massif, with the profile of the Shrine on the top; with clear skies, you can see Venice itself very well and you can even make out the bell tower of San Marco!The site is very well looked after: a green lawn, the cross, the Italian flag, a black statue dedicated to Our Lady of Fatima, benches and - the icing on the cake - powerful binoculars (free) with which to hunt for more or less details and places. lesser known!
