If you come from Caldè you can visit a 13th century church, the Chiesa di Santa Veronica. It is built on the lower part of the Rocca, which overhangs the lake, and from there you can enjoy an impressive view of the districts of Castello and Caldè, whose fortresses used to belong together. There are valuable frescoes in the church.
