Of the approximately 20 mines known in the Val d'Anniviers, only the La Lée copper mine of Zinal is open to the public. Located at an altitude of 1'920 meters, the mine is a 1 ½ hour walk from Zinal and consists of 500 meters of tunnels dug by man.
