The ruins of Klöch Castle stand defiantly above the town on a basalt hill. Today the residential tower and part of the shield wall of the castle are still standing. Not only can you explore the ruins on your own at the top, the view of Klöch is also terrific. The viewing platform can be found at the top of the residential tower.

n the north of Klöch stands the castle ruins on a basalt hill, which once served as a fortified castle that closed off the Radkersburg area to the north. The castle ruins were first mentioned in documents in 1365. The castle complex was still in good condition in the 17th century, but began to deteriorate in the 18th century.
