More than 100 years ago, the Busenkapelle was built on the edge of the woods above Göffingen on the site of a dilapidated chapel with donations and consecrated on 11.10.1896. At first one thinks of entering a Lourdes grotto. But not the mother of God of this place of appearance is to be seen, rather a "cross-carrying Jesus with Simon" becomes thoughtful. The depiction was created by the sculptor Gabriel Lämmle (1851-1925), who lived in Riedlingen for a long time.
