Mont des Tombes, in Sainghin-en-Mélantois, is an important historical site. It is thought to be an ancient burial mound that gave the area its name. Today it is a popular spot for mountain biking, with trails winding through a mixture of farmland and small woods. The gentle climb up Mont des Tombes offers superb panoramic views of the Pévèle region.
