Street YHA is the oldest operational youth hostel in the country, having opened in 1931. Nestled into the gorgeous countryside south of Street, the hostel is a Swiss chalet style building with large balconies.

This is a wonderful base for hiking and cycling holidays in Somerset. There's camping options as well as private rooms and a self-catering kitchen open to all guests whether staying in the property or camping in the grounds.
