On the southern slope above Birkingen, an insect hotel with the impressive dimensions of 4 x 2m serves as a learning and visual object for young and old. There are many wild bee species and a honey bee show to admire. There are around 30,000 different wild bee species worldwide. Around 600 of these species are native to Germany.
