The entry (from the east) is the only part that is interesting for MTB. The long, straight section that follows is the widest and boring forest path that can be found here up to the upper pond. You don't have to look long for it, however, as it is the main route. If you have to go fast, OK.

The Galloway forest paddocks next to the path and the view of the Obersten Teich at the western end are beautiful. (That is, however, already available separately as a highlight.)
