Built on the foundation walls of a Roman house, the lookout tower, modeled on an ancient watchtower, offers a wonderful view of the Weinviertel. When the view is clear, Rax, Schneeberg, Carpathians as well as Pollau mountains and the Ötscher can be seen.

An open-air museum extends around the observation tower and inside the tower there is an exhibition about the excavations and the 6000 years of settlement history of the residential mountain.

The Oberleiser Berg (457 m) is also the starting point for nature park and time travel tours.

From the observation tower you can look all around in the whole country. There is a great view in all directions here on nice days. Also around the lookout tower a lot has been done so that you can stop and rest here for a while.
