Lē'ahi is surrounded by almost 500 acres of Diamond Head State Monument, which is open only from 6am-6pm. If you are not a Hawai'i resident with Hawai'i ID, you must make advance reservations online before you visit; entry is $5 per person for non-residents, and $10 per vehicle if you are driving.
