Hohe Möhr Turm

If you are looking for a really great view with a view, the Hohe Möhr is the right place. The tower is really high and extends far above the treetops. Great view of the Black Forest towards the north, but also towards the south. Great view of the Alps in good weather. There is a lot going on at weekends and good weather. Those looking for silence and loneliness prefer to go during the week!

The Hohe Möhr and the same can easily be recognized from all peaks in the Black Forest.

There are no people there early in the morning. Hardly anything going on during the week. We start from Raitbach, but never the direct route but once around the mountain and then up from behind. Route in profile. There are benches upstairs and even a covered picnic area.

At the weekend it is very busy during the week and you cannot be lucky during the holiday season and you have everything to yourself like we do today. Doors from the tower always close all is even written everywhere, with us the front door as well as the upper door were open, so that probably could not read before us.

Great barbecue area, great view, enough tables and benches available. Also make enough dry wood for the fire.
