The village of Meedensdorf became even more beautiful and attractive as part of the “Herzplatz” campaign day of the BR television magazine "Wir in Bayern" in July 2019. The whole village community helped to turn the Brunnenplatz into a wonderful "heart square" in just a few hours. The old Brehm barn was renovated, including the horticultural design around the building, a new herb spiral was built in the center of the village, a bee hotel was opened and numerous other measures beautified the square.
