This small, baroque church, first mentioned in the 14th century, stands at a place with a religious cultural history that goes back thousands of years. Before Christianization by preaching wandering monks began in the 3rd and 4th centuries, a Celtic place of worship is said to have already existed here and a legend says that the old altar stone and three stone steps should come from this time.
Inside the church there is a statue of Our Lady, probably from 1300, and an ancient, hand-forged iron bell indicates Irish-Scottish monks from the 8th century.
The Ramsachkircherl is open daily (except Monday) from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
