The Ahrensbök water tower is the newest water tower in Schleswig-Holstein. It is located just outside the town limits of Ahrensbök, about 60 meters from Federal Highway 432.
The 45-meter-high tower was built on a slight rise, went into operation in 1976, and is a prominent landmark visible from afar. Constructed of steel and prestressed concrete, it consists of an octagonal column supporting a flat, also octagonal, mushroom-shaped reservoir. The structure is topped by a pulpit-like structure.
