The Tita Secchi refuge is located at the foot of the south face of the Cornone di Blumone (2,843 meters above sea level), near Lago della Vacca.
The following is engraved on a plaque: "TITA SECCHI Partisan of the Fiamme Verdi, 16-06-1915 16-09-1944. Captured with his group near the Corna Blacca, he was taken to Brescia and imprisoned. Sentenced to death, he alone could have saved himself on payment of a large ransom: his answer was "all or none" and, at dawn on 16 September 1944, he was shot with a his companions."
