The tunnel is on the left of the victory between Mudersbach and Brachbach in the street Grube corner.
Parking spaces are not available directly at the slate tunnel.
Larger sightseeing groups park on Otto-Hellinghausen-Platz (Kirmesplatz) or when coming from Brachbach at the former waterworks.
The temperature in the tunnel is around 8 degrees Celsius.
Protective helmets, which are provided, must be worn during visits.
Groups who want drinks can order them when registering.
