The last stage in the Picentini Mountains leads to Monte Terminio,
second highest peak of the mountain group.
Still a short route, with a moderate height difference, especially downhill since from the 1806 meters of the summit you go down to the 400 meters of Serino. From the Piano di Verteglia with a gentle climb you reach the Terminio where the view sweeps over Avellino and the Gulf of Salerno up to Vesuvius. Along the way there are several sinkholes and karst phenomena that can be observed before the long descent.

From here it is possible to reach restaurants, ponds, shelters, picnic areas. The state road continues to Montella.
