The brewery in Teisendorf was first mentioned in documents in 1666. The brewery has been owned by the Wieninger family since 1813. Every Wednesday at 11 a.m. (except on public holidays) there is a brewery tour at Wieninger with a Zwickl beer tasting. The tour lasts about an hour and a half and costs 8 euros for adults, children up to 16 years pay 4 euros. (As of 2020)

350 years ago, the private brewery Wieninger was mentioned for the first time in a document, at that time as Hofpruyhaus Deisendorf of the Salzburg archbishops. In the last 200 years, it has grown for seven generations as a small, fine family brewery. More about the brewery you can read here: wieninger.de.
