Dedicated to the apostle James the Greater, protector of wayfarers, it is the oldest church in Val Gardena and at the same time also the highest church. The dating is uncertain, although some historians place it in 1181, it is located above Ortisei, near the village of S. Giacomo, and can only be reached on foot. In summer it is possible to visit it from 10 to 12.30 (Summer 2020 timetable).
