In five sections, children and parents along the Prottes crude oil and natural gas educational trail are vividly presented and explained the development of oil and gas extraction. The Prottes oil and gas nature trail leads on paved paths through the village, through parks and through old cellar districts into the vineyards.

Overall, the 4.5 km long nature trail at 45 stations includes more than 150 different exhibits on the topics of exploration, extraction and distribution of crude oil and natural gas.
