Mountain biking
If you want to use this path with a bike, you should be able to carry your bike best. The paddock lies, so to speak, on the bottom of the Dortmund-Ems side canal, which was planned but never completed in the 1930s. To cross it, a dike has to be overcome on both sides, the flanks of which are quite steep (see photos). In summer the path is also quite overgrown and not as open as in the photos. The entrance from "Am Hasenkamp" is then easy to overlook. In wet weather the dike slopes are loamy and slippery.
